Who am I and why would you want to work with me?
My background is very much in the corporate world. From training as a lawyer to working in specialist recruitment, I have nearly always worked in high pressure commercial environments.
I was working full-time whilst raising a family and navigating peri-menopause, a chronic insomnia problem and a non-malignant knee tumour condition that would flare unannounced!
And I was struggling…
I always thought I was fairly healthy but the old adage is true – ‘You don’t know what you don’t know’.
So what did I do? I read into preventative health. I listened to hundreds of podcasts. I learnt what was going on with my hormones. I learnt all about the complexities of sleep. I learnt about nutrition, the gut brain axis, the gut microbiome. I learnt about chronic stress and its impact on the body. I learnt about the right exercise for me. I learnt, and I learnt.
And I put it into practice. And now in my 50s, I’m fitter and stronger than I’ve ever been. My hormones are in balance. I sleep well and have consistent energy. My weight is healthy and steady.
I qualified as a Health Coach with CNM in London and now I work with other professionals who want to take back control of their health.
